The Platform
The full MikroTik internet-management stack in one service.
Clean filtering, Safe risk reduction, Fast congestion control, MikroTik Administration, Scheduled Reports, Dashboard Views, Traffic Flow Analyser and white-label delivery.
DNS filtering is useful, but DNS-only filtering can be weakened by alternate DNS, private DNS, DoH and VPN use.
- Block categories such as adult content, gambling, malware, gaming, streaming and social media
- Applies at the MikroTik router edge instead of relying only on endpoint software
- Combines DNS policy, firewall rules, routing/NAT policy and reporting
- More resistant to DNS circumvention than DNS-only filtering
- Useful for schools, businesses, ISPs, WISPs, MSPs and managed MikroTik fleets
▶Technical details
LucidView's Content Filter uses DNS and Firewall Content Filter together. DNS syslog and Netflow metadata are used by LucidView's cloud to classify activity and drive rules back to the MikroTik router running LucidView, known as the LucidView Enforcer. It is stronger than DNS-only filtering, but should not be described as impossible to bypass.
Known malware destinations and suspicious unauthorised remote access can both expose a MikroTik network to avoidable risk.
- Helps block known malicious destinations
- Highlights suspicious direct-IP and unauthorised remote-access behaviour
- Uses network behaviour rather than only static signatures
- Supports whitelist handling for legitimate VPN, VoIP, SIP and branch services
- Improves risk visibility in Scheduled Reports and Dashboard Views
▶Technical details
LucidView uses Netflow metadata, DNS context, categorisation and behaviour checks to reduce risk. Public copy must avoid absolute guarantees. Prefer 'helps block', 'helps detect' and 'reduces risk' rather than claiming every threat will be stopped.
Operators need to understand what happened on a network without parsing raw Netflow files or waiting for a user to complain.
- Scheduled Reports: daily, weekly or monthly
- Dashboard Views for admins, resellers and profile users
- Traffic Flow Analyser for audits and investigations
- Three months of retained traffic-flow data
- White-label reports with operator logo, banner and sender identity where configured
▶Technical details
Reports are generated from Netflow metadata and DNS syslog data collected in LucidView's cloud. Traffic Flow Analyser is designed for structured review of retained metadata, not packet-content inspection.
When video-heavy traffic fills a link, interactive traffic such as Google Meet, Zoom, VoIP, browsing and business apps becomes painful.
- Identifies high-bandwidth traffic such as video streams
- Throttles selected heavy traffic as the link approaches saturation
- Helps protect Google Meet, Zoom, VoIP and other low-latency traffic
- Complements MikroTik queueing rather than replacing all network design
- Does not create extra bandwidth, but helps prevent congestion pressure
▶Technical details
Saturation Manager is content-aware shaping for MikroTik networks. It should be positioned as responsiveness protection under congestion, not a guarantee that every stream or every meeting will behave perfectly.
ISPs, WISPs and MSPs need quick visibility into router state, storage, RAM pressure, LucidView script status and customer profile access.
- Vitals Dashboard with online/offline state
- Storage and RAM visibility for older or constrained devices
- LucidView install and reporting status
- Backups and exports where viable
- Customer self-service for content-filter bypass or Wi-Fi changes where enabled
▶Technical details
Some MikroTik actions may remain operator-gated or unavailable until implemented. Public copy should use 'where available' for customer self-service and 'visibility' for hardware/firmware recommendations unless the action is fully live.
ISPs, WISPs, MSPs and resellers need a stronger managed internet offer without building filtering, reporting and traffic-analysis systems from scratch.
- Branded portal domain where configured
- Scheduled Reports sent from the operator's own domain and email identity
- Report logos and banners under the operator's brand
- Customer-facing experience owned by the operator
- LucidView powers Firewall Content Filter, Behaviour-Based IPS-Style Protection, Scheduled Reports, Dashboard Views and Saturation Manager
▶Technical details
White-label options depend on setup and commercial agreement. The important public point is that LucidView can power the operator's managed internet service under the operator's domain and identity.
Start from the Portal Demo
Clean, Safe and Fast internet.
Built for MikroTik fleets.
Use the portal to log in, create an account or view the Portal Demo from one clear entry point. Operators can then roll LucidView out with their company install script.
