Creating Content Filter Exceptions

This video provides a step by step visual guide on how to whitelist a host that falls into a category on your block list and conversely, how to blacklist a host that falls into a category that you allow.

Blacklisting and Whitelisting hosts/domains

In the event that you have don’t wish to block a  specific category but do want to be able to block  access a specific host, domain or site in that category you will need to black list the domain.

For example; YouTube and Microsoft service are included in the Big Tech Heavy category.  Should you want to block either of these while not blocking the entire category you will need to add the following hosts to your blacklist in the Content Filter:
